Northline Oaks · Unincorporated
Our streets are somebody else's shortcut.
Traffic from the Gosling sports fields and the Research Forest park-and-ride pours through Gosling, Southline, Centerline, Northline and Meadow on the way to I-45 — plus the weekday nine-to-five cut-through. Trash gets left behind, and during big events the crowds and music carry right into our houses. Take five minutes and put your household on record.
No HOA. No new taxes. This is neighbors gathering facts.
Why we started this
I have lived in Northline Oaks since 1972, when my parents moved our family here to get away from the big city. It was lovely — until it wasn't.
The sports fields are where the litter comes from. The leagues that play there have complete disregard for our neighborhood: they speed through our streets, leave their trash along our roads, and during large events the crowds and the music are so loud we can hear it inside our homes.
We have almost been hit more than once — my husband while mowing, me while walking out to check the mailbox. I have put it on record with the township, kept the correspondence, and taken video. Now I need our neighbors on record too.
